“Vahali Aavi Sapana Laavi” (Vahali comes and brings Dreams) is a Guj-lish(Guajarati and English) family oriented comic play. This play is being hosted at various locations in UK and already 12 shows have be hosted in various parts of London and UK.

The play revolves around Vahali, a British and Gujarati mix root girl who comes to house of Patel’s to learn Gujarati language and it’s traditional verses. Patel family is busy preparing their son for arrange marriage and has called their family friend with his daughter especially for this occasion. Vahali starts day-dreaming wherein she starts revealing the future of herself and the family. Mayhem creeps in when Patel family faces some hilarious yet unplanned turn in their life due to Vahali’s forecasts. The play displays various twist and turns of arrange marriage scenario at Patel family and ends up amicably in the end to everybody’s satisfaction.
The play is around 2hrs and 30 minutes long split into two parts separated by interval in the show. The play has 8 performers and moments of laughter all around throughout the play. This is a family drama and can be viewed by all ages of family members.
Younger British Gujarati generation do not participate as audience in Gujarati plays as they can’t understand Gujarati spoken at length in pure Gujarati play. Since we want our youngster to be part of audience, we have adopted Guj-lish flavour (Gujarati + English) to the play where in young kids can also understand and enjoy.
